Lawn Soil Sampling
Stop guessing. Measure pH and nutrient availability so every treatment is based on what your lawn actually needs.

The Sorensen approach
Accurate treatment starts in the soil
Tall fescue prefers a pH of 6.2-7.0. Much of the soil in the greater Fredericksburg region is acidic and needs to be amended with lime.
A soil sample taken from several spots determines how much lime is needed. Soil pH controls how available nutrients are to turfgrass. Soil that is too acidic or too basic prevents those nutrients from being used effectively.

Start your soil sampling
Soil samples can be taken any time of year. We recommend annual testing to guide lime applications and keep your lawn looking its best.
